Step 1: Preparing the basis for assembling
- The surface on which you install the terrace board should be plain, firm, and solid. As a basis for installing the terrace board, you can use concrete slabs; one-peace, plain concrete screed; adjustable screw supports; metal framework, and a 400 mm distance between the frame profiles.
- Under the deck, you should provide the effluent or drainage and unobstructed airflow to prevent excessive water absorption.
- The deck must have an incline towards the effluent not less than 5mm per 1m of the deck length.

Step 2: Joists installing
- The distance between the joists should be 400 mm
- It's very important to keep not less than a 20 mm compensatory gap between the joists and the wall or any other barriers.
- Gaps between the joists docking along the length should be not less than 10 mm
- Distance between the joists that provide docking of the boards should be not more than 40mm
- Joists should be aligned with each other and be in the same plane horizontally
- You should provide a firm fastening of the joists to the basis with the help of corrosion-resistant dowels or self-tapping screws.
- When installing the deck on a surface where it is not possible to fix the joists to the base, it is necessary to ensure the installation of a double frame of composite joists using corrosion-resistant screws. And only then proceed with the installation of the decking.

Step 3: Terrace board assembling
- It is better to install the terrace board when the air temperature is above zero. You should consider
- the linear extensions which can appear when heating and cooling boards ( from 2 mm to 3 mm per 1 m of the length of a board): the size of the end gaps when installing a standard length of 2400 mm boards is not less than 5 mm, longitudinal gaps not less than 3 mm.
- Boards should be previously unpacked and left for 24 hours in the air in the place where they are going to be installed
- The board must be fastened perpendicularly to the joists with the help of mounting clips and self-tapping screws with anti-corrosion coating.
- The starting board must be assembled from a fixed frame with the help of starting clips.
- Decorative elements (corners) should be fastened with self-tapping screws.
